Greetings,

My name is Ray (Alex) Carter.  I am a writer living in Sarasota, Florida
and hoping to move to the mountains of North Carolina in the near future.
I have just finished "The Dragon Club," a suspense/thriller.  Sections are
now being reviewed by agents as well as one (YEAH> mass market publisher.
Currently, I am finishing "Queen of Hearts," a detective novel featuring
Jack Kuger, who, while trying to get published as a writer, takes up the
detective business on Florida's west coast.(NOT biographical)  Although he
is earning a poor wage, he is gathering great material for his writing.

In nonfiction I have been published in Sierra, Popular Science, Lotto
World, Florida Living, Security Management, Warehouse Management, Credit &
Collection Newsletter, West Coast Woman and others.  I have also written a
feature story or sales column monthly for the past three years for Water
Technology Magazine.

I am especially interested in talking with anyone who lives in the western
part of North Carolina.  West of Charlotte.  Anywhere in the Blueridge
from the Virginia line (Piney Creek-Sparta) to the Georgia line
(Franklin).  I'm interested in talking to any writer no matter where they
live, but North Carolina is my destination.
