Assume a pairwise interaction between the peptide amino-acids and corresponding ones on the TCR
(Miazawa-Jernigan matrix J)
The interaction E is used to determine whether a TCR will be selected, with the following procedure:
A TCR sequence is randomly generated,
Its binding energy is calculated against a repertoire of M self-peptides.
This is an Extreme Value problem, since the selection criterio is determined by
the strongest TCR/peptide binding.
