Journal for 2003 September 12

Aye, I am tired. And I have a lecture to help teach in less than an hour-and-a-half. I stayed up late at first to grade papers. But as I stayed up later, transitioning as I hoped from homework to lecture preparation, I was brough to realize something. The later it gets, the more precious general tutors are. Left to my own devices, I think I could have gotten 4 hours of sleep; As it is, by the morning hours, I couldn't find any more time to work on my lecture, so swampped was I for tutoring.

I don't know what Holly thinks when she says community; says there's no community, but plenty of people are staying late for problem sets.

I keep fading in and out -- in the middle of words, while standing up -- anywhere. Too tired to continue.
