I am a postdoc in Matt Wilson's lab at MIT. I am attempting to understand how the brain consolidates memories during sleep. As a graduate student in Steve Potter's lab at Georgia Tech, I developed a number of technologies to extend two established experimental techniques -- multichannel electrophysiology and optogenetics. The techniques and tools I have developed are generally free and open source, and can be forked from my github. I am an active contributer to the open-ephys initiative, which distributes several of my hardware projects to the community. Look at the publications page for PDFs of papers concerning my scientific work and also describing hardware and software designs.
