There lies within each of us a
kindling wood. And just beyond our reach, a blazing bonfire. We are the empty in
search of life, and that bonfire is Life Himself. On the Outside, there is a
coldness like death, but the Inside is like an all-consuming flame. Who can lead the
way into the whipping flames, with crackling heat to reduce even the greatest
to ashes? If left to ourselves, won't we surely freeze to death? .. But is there
no way in, to stand before the flames without charring our bones? There must be
One Who can temper the heat and kindle the Life inside us all.
