I was formerly president of the MIT Table Tennis Club.  They compete against other colleges in the New England division of the NCTTA (National Collegiate Table Tennis Association).  They also host one open table tennis tournament per semeter for the top players in New England.

While I still play on the internet from time to time (www.freechess.org), I haven't been an active tournament player in several years.  I was the president of Carnegie Mellon's chess club for one year (yes I know, another nerd club), but am no longer involved with chess in any formal capacity.

I originally planned to study music composition in college, but discovered computer science along the way and music has since been just a hobby.  Here are a couple of pieces I composed while I briefly studied music at Carnegie Mellon University:

"Tinúviel: The Song of Parting"

"Two Pieces for Tuba"
