Sec. 86-212. Speed

(1) Hitchcock Street.

Westbound traffic--beginning at the westerly street line of Northampton Street; thence westerly 0.28 miles at 25 miles per hour on Hitchcock Street to the easterly street line of Westfield Road. Eastbound traffic--beginning at the easterly street line of Westfield Road; thence easterly 0.28 miles at 25 miles per hour on Hitchcock Street to the westerly street line of Northampton Street.

(2) Main Street (Ingleside Street to Berkshire Street).

Northbound traffic--beginning at the northerly end of the state highway from West Springfield to Holyoke (State Highway Sta. 278 plus 95.3); thence northerly 0.97 miles at 35 miles per hour to the southerly sideline of Ingleside Street (Anderson Hill) (State Highway Sta. 227 plus 33); thence northerly 1.03 miles at 30 miles per hour to the southerly sideline of Berkshire Street.

(3) Main Street (Berkshire Street to Ingleside Street).

Southbound traffic--beginning at the southerly sideline of Berkshire Street; thence southerly 1.03 miles at 30 miles per hour to the southerly sideline of Ingleside Street (Anderson Hill) (State Highway Sta. 227 plus 33); thence southerly 0.97 miles at 35 miles per hour to the northerly end of the state highway from Holyoke to West Springfield (State Highway Sta. 278 plus 95.3).

(4) Pleasant Street and River Terrace.

Northwestbound traffic--beginning at the westerly street line of Lincoln Street; thence northwesterly 0.97 miles at 30 miles per hour on Pleasant and North Pleasant Streets to the easterly street line of Montgomery Avenue; thence westerly 0.09 miles at 30 miles per hour on River Terrace to the easterly line of Northampton Street. Southeastbound traffic--beginning at the easterly street line of Northampton Street; thence easterly 0.09 miles at 30 miles per hour on River Terrace to the easterly street line of Montgomery Avenue; thence southeasterly 0.97 miles at 30 miles per hour on North Pleasant and Pleasant Streets to the westerly street line of Lincoln Street.

(6) Route 5 (Northampton Street at Mountain Park Road).

Southbound traffic--beginning at the southerly end of the state highway from Northampton to Holyoke (State Highway Sta. 45 plus 15); thence southerly 1.22 miles at 35 miles per hour to the northerly sideline of Lincoln Street (State Highway Sta. 110); thence southerly 1.85 miles at 30 miles per hour to the southerly sideline of Gilman Street (State Highway Sta. 207 plus 85); thence southerly 1.32 miles at 40 miles per hour to the northerly end of the state highway from West Springfield to Holyoke (State Highway Sta. 278 plus 95.3).

(7) Route 141 (Easthampton Road).

Northwesterlybound traffic--beginning at the westerly street line of Northampton Street (State Highway Sta. 127); thence westerly and northerly 0.37 miles at 30 miles per hour to the southerly street line of Old Easthampton Road (State Highway Sta. 107); thence northwesterly and northerly 0.70 miles at 35 miles per hour to the northerly line of the entrance of the Sons of Italy Grove (State Highway Sta. 70); thence northerly 0.76 miles at 30 miles per hour to the northerly side line of Dr. Trudeau's driveway (State Highway Sta. 29 plus 75); thence northerly 0.53 miles at 35 miles per hour to the Easthampton town line (State Highway Sta. 1 plus 54.09). Beginning on Lyman Street at the westerly sideline of Beech Street--northwesterlybound traffic; thence northwesterly 0.18 miles at 30 miles per hour to the end of Lyman Street at the north sideline of Hampden Street; thence northwesterly 0.22 miles at 30 miles per hour on Hampden Street to the southerly line of Lincoln Street; thence northwesterly 0.80 miles at 30 miles per hour on Lincoln Street to the easterly sideline of Northampton Street.

(9) Route 202 (Lincoln, Hampden and Lyman Street--from Northampton Street to Beech Street).

Beginning at the easterly sideline of Northampton Street; thence southeasterly 0.80 miles at 30 miles per hour on Lincoln Street to the westerly line of Hampden Street; thence southeasterly 0.22 miles at 30 miles per hour on Hampden Street to the westerly sideline of Lyman Street; thence southeasterly 0.18 miles at 30 miles per hour on Lyman Street to the westerly sideline of Beech Street.

(10) Route 202 (Cherry Street, Homestead Avenue and Apremont Way).

Beginning at the southerly end of the county bridge; thence southerly 0.12 miles at 25 miles per hour on Bridge Street to the easterly street line of Canal Street; thence westerly and southwesterly 0.24 miles at 25 miles per hour on Canal Street to the easterly street line of Lyman Street. Beginning at the easterly street line of Lyman Street; thence northerly and northeasterly 0.24 miles at 25 miles per hour on Canal Street to the easterly street line of Canal Street; thence northerly 0.12 miles at 25 miles per hour on Bridge Street to the southerly end of the county bridge.

(13) Westfield Road.

Westbound traffic--beginning at the westerly street line of Northampton Street; thence westerly 0.27 miles at 25 miles per hour to the westerly street line of Roosevelt Avenue; thence southwesterly 1.03 miles at 30 miles per hour to the easterly street line of Homestead Avenue. Eastbound traffic--beginning at the easterly street line of Homestead Avenue; thence northeasterly 1.03 miles at 30 miles per hour to the westerly street line of Roosevelt Avenue; thence easterly 0.27 miles at 25 miles per hour to the westerly street line of Northampton Street.

(14) Evergreen Drive northbound.

Beginning at Vermont Street thence northerly on Evergreen Drive 0.11 miles at 20 miles per hour; thence 0.31 miles at 30 miles per hour; thence 0.10 miles at 25 miles per hour ending at Bray Park Drive; the total distance being 0.52 miles.

(15) Evergreen Drive southbound.

Beginning at Bray Park Drive thence southerly on Evergreen Drive 0.10 miles at 25 miles per hour; thence 0.31 miles at 30 miles per hour; thence 0.11 miles at 20 miles per hour ending at Vermont Street; the total distance being 0.52 miles.

(16) South Canal Street--northbound.

Beginning at the junction of Main Street, thence northerly on South Canal Street, 0.22 miles at 25 miles per hour, 0.38 miles at 30 miles per hour, ending at the junction of Cabot Street, the total distance being 0.60 miles.

(17) South Canal Street--southbound.

Beginning at the junction of Cabot Street, thence southerly on South Canal Street, 0.36 miles at 30 miles per hour, ending at the junction of Jackson Street, the total distance being 0.36 miles.

(18) North Canal Street--northbound.

Beginning at the junction of Cabot Street, thence northerly on North Canal Street, 0.24 miles at 30 miles per hour, 0.61 miles at 35 miles per hour, 0.18 miles at 25 miles per hour, ending at the junction of North Bridge Street, the total distance being 1.03 miles.

(19) North Canal Street--southbound.

Beginning at the junction of North Bridge Street, thence southerly on North Canal Street, 0.18 miles at 25 miles per hour, 0.61 miles at 35 miles per hour, 0.24 miles at 30 miles per hour, ending at the junction of Cabot Street, the total distance being 1.03 miles.

Westbound traffic--Beginning at the beginning of State Highway, thence westerly on Cherry Street 0.37 miles at 35 miles per hour ending at the end of State Highway; the total distance being 0.37 miles.

(21) Cherry Street

Eastbound traffic--Beginning at the beginning of State Highway, thence easterly on Cherry Street 0.37 miles at 35 miles per hour ending at the end of State Highway; the total distance being 0.37 miles.

(22) Ingleside and Northampton Streets (Route 5)

Northbound traffic--Beginning at the end of State Highway on Route 5, thence northerly on Ingleside and Northampton Streets 0.57 miles at 45 miles per hour, 0.30 miles at 40 miles per hour, 0.40 miles at 45 miles per hour, 1.58 miles at 35 miles per hour, 0.39 miles at 30 miles per hour, 1.14 miles at 40 miles per hour ending at the beginning of State Highway; the total distance being 4.38 miles.

(23) Northampton and Ingleside Streets (Route 5)

Southbound traffic--Beginning at the end of State Highway on Route 5, thence southerly on Northampton and Ingleside Streets 1.14 miles at 40 miles per hour, 0.39 miles at 30 miles per hour, 1.58 miles at 35 miles per hour, 0.40 miles at 45 miles per hour, 0.30 miles at 40 miles per hour, 0.57 miles at 45 miles per hour ending at the beginning of State Highway; the total distance being 4.38 miles.
