This spell creates a hemisphere with a diameter equal to the caster's height. This hemisphere can be position in any way the caster desires, but is fixed once cast. The hemisphere only protects half of the caster. It completely blocks magic missiles and provides a +1 save versus spells it could block. It provides AC 1 against hand held missiles, AC 2 against device propelled missiles, and AC 3 against all other attacks. The shield appears to be a transparent hemisphere with transparent red flames flickering over the surface.
