Short Bio

I recently (July 2008) took a position as an Assistant Professor at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. Prior to joining the Masdar Institute, I was a postdoctoral associate in the Humans and Automation Lab (HAL) at MIT, directed by Professor Missy Cummings. I completed the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, in 2001, 2003, and 2005, respectively. My Ph.D. advisor was Professor Michael A. Goodrich. My research interests include human-maching interaction, multi-agent learning, game theory, robotics, and interactive artificial learning.
