An 11d8 + 88 hit point dragon is something to go crazy about? Pfui. Real Dragons have lot of hit points. (Ok, 160 is about reasonable, more for unusual specimens.) Real Dragons do bite/claw/claw/stomp/wing/wing/tail and can substitute a breath for bite/claw/claw. Real Dragons, if they are intelligent, can use items in their hoard. Real Dragons wear a Ring of Protection on one claw and a Ring of Vampiric Regeneration on another claw. Real Magic-Using Dragons have a Rod of Absorption strapped to their forearm. Real Magic-using Dragons memorize mean, nasty, useful spells. Real Intelligent Dragons have plans set up to blitz would-be dragon hunters. Real Dragons can (usually) Heal themselves once in melee (magical item). Real Dragons have *very* good senses of smell and hearing. Real Dragons rarely get suprised. Real Dragons are not to be messed with unless you know what you're doing or unless you want to make a non-tax-deductible donation to the Dragon's hoard. I won't go into the special dragons (like the Grandfather of Red Dragons).
