Turning glass beads and silver bits into jewelry. Related pictures for Susie.
Ear Bobs
These are designed to hang off an ornate pair ear of wires, interchangeably. The pair in the center I bought as is. The purple and green pairs, I made my self from beads and silver bits I bought. They're really cool looking, but a bit heavy.
Blue drop and rose ear bobs
Another pair of ear bobs with smaller, lighter glass beads. The blue makes me think of a drop of water or dew. You can see the ear wires here too. The bobs don't come off, because the end you slip them on and off over is through your ear when you wear them. Ingenious.
Mock up of green rose ear bob
This was my original idea for what to do with the roses and leaves, but I haven't dismantled the other green earrings to make my own pair. I may not.
Squashing end caps (tops)
The leftmost one if how they started. The center one is how far I'd squashed them to fit on the blue bead. The rightmost is the squashing required to make them fit on the big fat green bead.
Squashing end caps (bottoms)
The underside of the end caps in the three squashing stages.
Necklace centerpice
Someday, this will be in the middle of one of those crocheted rops (sans shiny round white beads on the ends). I've been trying to figure out what to do with the grey glass beads for a decade!
Smokey Grey Necklace
Rather than make a crocheted rope for it (see prev. picture), I made a silver necklace on a chain. It came out rather well. Finally, a nice use for these beads a freind gave me over 10 years ago!
