After 6 years as a graduate student at the geodynamics group in the department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science, MIT, I have recently defended my PhD thesis , titled:

"Seismic and Viscous Anisotropy in the Earth's Mantle -- Observations and Implications"

Prof. Brad Hager was my thesis advisor

In the fall (10/2009) I will be moving to New York, to become a postdoctoral fellow at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) of Columbia University.
