Developed self-contained in-shoe force sensor with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to study juvenile arthritis. Awarded "Best in SUNFEST" for outstanding research.

with Prof. Leila Ladani (Aug. 2010 to May 2011)

Designed and tested combination stress and strain gauges to measure elastic modulus of tissue samples. Presented this research at the 2011 Summer Bioengineering Conference.



Localization with Motes, University of Alabama

with Prof. David Grau (Aug. 2009 to May 2010)

Developed programs to localize construction equipment using small radio transceivers attached to computer chips called motes. Used C-based language, nesC.

ENGR 2340 Dynamics - Olin College of Engineering - Guest Lecturer (Fall 2017)

Discussed analogs between the mass-spring-damper system and systems in electronics, fluid mechanics, and even heat transfer. After discussing the analogs between these systems, students learned why there is no "inductor" in heat transfer. Finally, thermal effects, such as heating of a damper over time, were considered based on energy conservation.



CBH 101 Computer-Based Honors - Teaching Assistant (Fall 2010, Fall 2011)

Course description: Taken by first-year students in the University of Alabama Computer-Based Honors Program, this course provides an accelerated introduction to computer hardware and software. Students learn to use Unix commands and program in Fortran; final project is a DMV/RMV database.
