Due to my father's work, teaching, I traveled a lot while growing up and lived in several different countries. As a result of this I developed a love for travel, foreign languages, and experiencing different cultures. After many years of travel my parents settled in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. This city in the northeast of Mexico is beautiful in that calm, warm, and tranquil charm only Mexico offers. The weather of Hermosillo is beautiful and warm in the winter. However, it is one of the hottest places on earth in the summer, after all it is part of the Arizona-Sonoran Desert. Interestingly, my parents have now retired to Germany, talk about contrasts!
