Thesis Abstract: On-Orbit Assembly and Space Tugs

Investigation of space tugs for low earth orbit rendezvous and docking, specifically focused on the use of tugs (multi-use spacecraft that attach to and propel other spacecraft) for on-orbit assembly of modular spacecraft. The problem is approached from both an astrodynamics and systems perspective.
