The site is now being racked by Divine and Infernal forces. During the day, it is +1-+3 Dominion; at night, it is +1-+3 Infernal. The ghosts of Medon, Deisenor, Asteropaios, and Chromios manifest at night as Myrdraal. For a story-based session, the Myrdraals don't attack; for an action-peppered session, they do, every night. Ennomosia's soul needs to be laid to rest. Unfortunately, her body has already decayed to dust. Mesthles, who has been Called, has been trying to have her soul saved as well, but he is running out of time. Mesthles is trying to protect her soul from the Infernal; the Myrdraal are trying to drag her soul into Hell. **** Sunday: Requiem Merchants travelling north hear the Requiem on a Sunday morning. They had at a nearby campsite. They tarry a little, but press on. The music is peaceful, but just a little disturbing, so they decide not to investigate. Some people tarrying at services at Father Gregory's hear music, but no one is sure if it's just their imagination or not. The music is very calming. **** Monday: Kyrie That afternoon, the merchants make it to the Wayhouse, where some ask to speak with Father Gregory. Others tell stories of music they have not heard the like of. Faeries? Who knows. The mood of the travellers are calm and reflective. **** Tuesday: Dies Irae, Tuba Mirum, Rex Tremendae, Recordare, Confutatis, Lacrimosa. Dies Irae: dreaded day of wrath. The sun rises with a fiery blaze. Surely no one can hide this day. +3 Dread. Tuba Mirum: a horn is heard from the campsite, very far off. The melody disappears after a little while. +1 Calling. Rex Tremendae: Chorus cries of Rex Tremendae blend into a fantastic melody. The music dies with "salva me, fons pietatis". Recordare: Ennomosia's and Mesthles' ghosts appear, who seem to be singing the duo of the Recordare. Confutatis: Late afternoon: the sunlight is starting to fail. The ghost of Mesthles sings the terrible bass line over Ennomosia, while sweet high angelic voices from nowhere sing the upper lines. Lacrimosa: Just before true dusk, a single ray of sunlight touches Mesthles' ghost, and he disappears. Ennomosia continues singing the Lacrimosa. Ennomosia's ghost starts slowing fading after the first 8 measures and is gone by the end. The last of the light disappears at the end. +3 Mournfulness. **** Wednesday: Offertorium: Domine Jesu, Hostias Domine Jesu: Music eminates from nowhere with a sense of urgency. Ennomosia is not bound to the music. +3 Urgency. Hostias: At high noon, the Hostias starts. Everyone feels quite peaceful unless otherwise inclined. +3 Peacefulness. As dusk comes, the evening brings a reprise of the Domine Jesu and a sense of urgency. **** Thursday: Sanctus The dawn brings a burst of light. Anyone needing anything positive is at +1-+3. **** Friday: Benedictus A sense of peacefulness combined with a definite sense of ending. A recapitulation of the Sanctus brings a sense of peace in the evening. **** Saturday: Agnus Dei Peacefulness, punctuated by sections of imploring. An uneasy sense of unknown, of doubt, caps the end. **** Sunday: Communio The day starts with peaceful music, or repose. It turns into an imploring and dreadful hoping theme. The chorus is taken up in the air and becomes a powerful chorus, overwhelming everyone. It builds up and stops on a dread cadence. A pause. It then closes majestically, leaving great doubt as to whether or not Ennomosia was saved. The last ringing notes are at high noon. Ennomosia Ghost, unaligned-realm might 10. Myrdraals (Medon, Deisenor, Asteropaios, and Chromios) Ghost, infernal might (5 + 5*Infernal aura). Black serpentine longswords: +9/+10/+10/+6. 2 attacks a round. Soak +0. Dodge +0. Normal body levels. Immune to fatigue.
