More importantly, UConn is using their own web registration setup, so a $#!%load and a half of pressure is off of me. Who knows; maybe all this is for nothing. We'll see. :)

Nothing quite like advertising to get a lot of excellent suggestions. I'm
working with Tara Andrews to get wombat running JSDK. I'm rethinking how
the stats pages should be done (what with the suggestions I've gotten).
There have been some changes; some suggestions have been relegated to the
Way Future Development category.
Not sure when I'll be doing feature freeze; I had thought to do in very early, but now I realize that it might have to be a lot later, as people will often have excellent suggestions that should go into v1.0.
Code documentation is also underway. This is going to take a long time, what with 3,753 lines of code of which documenting 375 of them has taken a little over an hour. :)

Everything that's probably going to go into v1.0 is written. Now to test
it; wombat should be up and running JSDK in a few days.

Pre-development is mostly done. Now for the painful part: testing all
this. :) I haven't finished the HTML forms/pages that talk to
OpenTelemark; once I get JSDK up and running on wombat, then I'll have a
better feel for what exactly I'm writing. At any rate, all this probably
means that I'm in feature freeze for v0.9; I'll try to get that perl
configuration script done in time for v1.0.

The first 1,500 lines or so of code compile correctly, or mostly did so
last week. Not that I've been able to actually test this with the java
servlet packages available yet. "Features to be included in v1.0" is
almost complete; as "Features hopefully to be included in v1.0" are
developed, the bullet item in Development Plans will move accordingly.
Wombat now is running 1.1.6; we'll see about getting servlets up and
running on it.

Version 0.1a is still undergoing development with ~1500 lines of code
written. Need to get flying-wombat setup for testing and debugging; it's
going to hurt a lot when I finally get around to attempting to compile
all this code. Basic functionality is nearing completion.

The unnamed predecessor to OpenTelemark was used for the MIT
Inaugural Open Ballroom Dance Competition (1997) and the 2nd Annual MIT
Open Ballroom Dance Competition (1998). It was written in perl by David
Cho.
