center for bits and atoms

I'm Sam, a phd student at mit's center for bits and atoms. I like geometry, I like making stuff.

Right now, I'm working on automated workflows for folding sandwich-core materials. These constructions give a great deal of control over three dimensional shape and material properties, make efficient use of material, don't require tooling for manufacture, and pair nicely with many existing processes.
