Welcome to my home page. I am Andriani Ferti and I am from Athens, Greece. I have studied Law in the University of Athens and I am currently working at the Law Department of the Greek Telecommunications Organization (OTE SA), the biggest telecommunications provider in Greece. This is a pratice job in order to become a certified lawyer.

Education

• September 2000 - January 2005: Law School of the University of Athens. Attended 41 classes with GPA 7.29/10. Ranked 57th amongst 330 students in the year of 2005, with 1st student in the year receiving GPA 8.4/10 approximately. Received GPA 8.25/10 in the courses of my academic interest which are Information Technology Law, Intellectual Property, Commercial Law - Industrial Property, General Principles of Civil Law, General Law of Contracts, Law of Contracts - Special Topics, Applications of Civil Law and Law of Property (Real Property Law).
• June 2000: Participated in nationwide university entrance examinations. Was examined on 14 courses and received GPA 19.4/20. Scored 193.03 out of 200, ranking 145th overall amongst approximately 20,000 examination participants. Admitted in the Law School of the University of Athens. June 1999: Participated in nationwide examinations on 14 courses as a part of the two-year process for entering the university. Received GPA 18.9/20.
• September 1994 - June 2000: Public High School of the District of Psyhiko. Ranked 1st in class each year receiving honors and awards both from the Greek Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Psyhiko.

Working/teaching experience:

• Law Department of OTE S.A. (April 2005 - now): I am currently working at the Law Department of the Greek Telecommunications Organization (OTE S.A.), the biggest telecommunications provider in Greece and the Balkans, practicing as a lawyer in order to get a license and be admitted in the Athens Bar Association.
• Law Department of OTE S.A. (October 2004 - March 2005): Worked voluntarily, joining as well the data processing of the work done by the Law Department of the enterprise.
• National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) - Project "GoOnline" (October 2004 - May 2005): Took part in the project "GoOnline" funded by the European Union and organized by the Greek Ministry of Development. The project involves visits to businesses for teaching employees at developing corporations how to use the computers and the World Wide Web and how to apply methods concerning the e-commerce. During these visits the tutor has to present aspects of e-commerce and marketing by means of high technology and to consult them on legal problems which they might have faced. I was selected to participate after examination based on my knowledge on the subjects aforementioned.
• September 2002 - June 2004: I gave piano lessons at the National Conservatory of Greece.

Academic interests

My academic interests entangle both Civil and Commercial Law. I am especially motivated about:

• Industrial Property

My professional goals encompass legal consulting. I am personally interested in cultivating expertise in the Information Technology Law and acquiring managerial and administrative skills in order to advise the citizens of the global information society regarding the legal perspective of their activities and by helping them become familiar with the new inventions and the development of the World Wide Web.

• Essay on the course of International Organizations about the "Activities of the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the problems of modern society".

Music: I love piano and music in general. I started playing the piano at the age of 6. I received the first degree in piano with the grade "excellent" at the age of 16 from the National Conservatory of Greece (January 1999), enabling me to pursue a professional career in music. I received the highest diploma from the National Conservatory of Greece in June 2004 at the age of 21, which allows me to perform professionally as a soloist. I have taken part in many piano and music seminars all over Greece, meeting famous and talented Greek and foreign music professors from all over the world, including Mrs Ruth Gerald, former Head of the Keyboard Faculty of the London' s Royal College of Music. I have participated in many concerts performing solo, for four hands and chamber music pieces of many composers with diverse music styles.

General interests:

• Information Technology issues.
• Because of my interest in the shipping industry, I have written a large number of articles which have been published and awarded from specialized in the shipping industry journals.
• Travelling: I have regularly travelled from a very young age in many countries all over the world (U.S.A., Spain, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg).
• Organizing social events: I have organized and took part in many social events of the High School which I attended. I composed and made speeches as a representative of both the public and private schools of the Municipality of Psyhiko in a variety of social events and anniversaries.
• Singing.
• Theatre.
