I'm Agustin Garcia, MIT class of 2021 (math and computer science) and a graduate of Harrison High School (2017). I am currently an Algorithm Developer at HRT.
My primary interests are in applied mathematics and computer science, especially algorithms and complexity theory. You can check out the classes I've taken here. I also love teaching mathematics: my senior year I was a Teaching Assistant for MIT's Introduction to Algorithms course, 6.006. Previously, I founded Harvard-MIT Math Tournament's Education initiative, mentored for MIT PRIMES Circle, and worked at Canada/ USA Mathcamp in 2018, having previously attended as a camper in 2016 and 2017. I've also inspired others to pursue math via coaching, volunteering for math competitions, and starting a high school math club.
My other interests include running, music, tennis, photography, food, and traveling. You can follow me on Strava.
You can contact me agustingarciamit@gmail.com if you want to chat, ask a question, see my resume, or anything else.
