Syllabus

Textbook: Ohanian Physics 1, 2nd Edition, Workbook Guth, Busza and Cartwright

This course concentrates on one topic per week. There are three recitations and one tutorial per week. On Monday the key concepts are introduced, normally via worksheets and guided discussion between pairs of students. On Tuesday, the topic is explored through standard problems, then on Wednesday groups of three students work together on complex problems. The tutorials are held on Thursdays.
