The Physics Interactive Video Tutor (PIVoT).

MIT's Center for Advanced Educational Services (CAES), in collaboration with the Physics Department, is producing a new learning environment on the web for those taking a Newtonian Mechanics course. It will allow students to watch videos in which I discuss physics and problems. PIVoT will give answers to "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ), it will also have Quizzes and Simulations. At this time, PIVoT is only about 20% complete, yet you can already access 17 hours of video clips covering a wide range of topics in 8.01. Even though PIVoT is presently only in an early stage of development, we are making it available as it may already be of some limited use to you. You can access PIVoT through Athena. Web site http://curricula2.mit.edu/pivot/ .

All 8.01 Lectures on PIVoT.
This entire 8.01 course will become part of PIVoT. The taping of the lectures will be done during the first lecture from 10-11 AM. The lectures will appear on PIVoT after one week. These will be un-edited versions. To accommodate you in preparation for exams, we will make an effort to make the Exam Reviews available on PIVoT within one day.
