The Iroquois Tribe

The Iroquios Tribe lived in a climate that was hot in the summer, warm in the spring, cold in the winter and cool in the fall. The part of North America they lived in was called the Eastern Woodlands. They type of houses they lived in were long houses. They used bark for their houses.

They got food by fishing, hunting and farming. They got around in canoes, sleds and snowshoes. The men's work was hunting and building. They hunted deer and made the skins into clothes. They used bark to cover their canoes.

The Iroquois Tribe was lots of different tribes. They were skilled workers.
