The Haida Tribe

The Haida Indians lived along the northwest coast. They had four seasons. The was a lot of rain. They lived in Haida lodges. Haida lodges were made out of wood. Everybody who lived in a lodge was related.

The Haida Tribe had totem poles to show they were wealthy. On the totem poles were eagles, whales, ravens, bears, and other animals. The symbols on the poles stood for their ancestors. Most of the Haida Indians were hunters and fishermen. They ate salmon and other animals.
