Meat Pasta Sauce (in a Crock Pot) Ingredients: 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 onion, chopped 1/2 lb Italian sausage 1 lb lean ground beef 2 28 oz cans, Italian tomatoes, drained and chopped 28 oz can crushed tomatoes 28 oz can tomato sauce 6 oz can tomato paste 1 Tbsp anchovy paste 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp rosemary 1 bay leaf 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper 1/4 cup dry red wine 4 garlic cloves, minced or put through press 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp instant beef bouillon 2 tsp sugar 1 tsp brown sugar 2 Tbsp romano cheese, finely grated pasta Saute onion in oil; add sausage and beef, a little at a time and cook over medium high heat until browned; drain and add to crock pot with all other ingredients except cheese; cover crock pot and cook on low 5 to 6 hours; just before serving add cheese and stir to mix; serve over your favorite pasta.
