The stage management manual is a guide for new student stagemanagers at MIT in academic theater (as opposed to student group theater which works a little differently). I originally wrote it as a Senior at MIT, but the website was quickly constructed. Even now there is a lot about the text and website I would like to change.

I hope to add a section on student group stage managing, more on the psychology of stage management, and make the e-callboard example more up to date and user friendly. What I hope is that this will be a useful resource for any student stage manager, but mostly that it will get proofread.

A group of SSA Alumni, which includes yours truely, are trying to organize an all inclusive school reunion for the summer of 2006. We are also trying to start up an alumni network which will allow us to keep in touch, and maybe help current college and high school students.
