Sidney Yip's
|
In celebration of Sidney Yip's 70th birthday, we are organizing a one-day symposium at MIT (Von Hippel Room, Bldg 13, Rm 2137) on Wednesday Nov. 30 (MRS week), as well as a catered evening party (Bush Room, Bldg 10, Rm 105) at 6-9 PM. For MRS conference attendees, it's about 25-minute walk (on a good day) from the Hynes Convention Center, or a $15 taxi ride one way.
If you would like to attend the symposium and/or evening party, please let us know. There will be opportunities to speak at the evening party, as well as time slots (limited) to make formal presentations at the day symposium. If you would like to speak, please send us a brief note of your association with Sid, how long you would like to talk, and your unavailable time on Wednesday.
Sincerely,
--
