Since you must have clicked on the linnk from the previous page, you must have already read my little paragraph on ESL. So now there are a lot of pictures, but very little words. I'll just try to say a bit about each picture and the people in it.

First five pictures of pictures taken in the ESL classroom. The first one is of Felix, Woo-Jay, and Olivier. Felix is from Germany, and likes to tell stories. Well, they're stories about himself, and the reason why I call them stories is because a lot of us are not sure how valid they are. Felix wants to join the coast guard. His father is some really high ranking general in the German military. He does not want to do army at West Point because his father does not think it's a good idea. Marines is out of the question, I forget why, so he's going coast guard. Woo-Jay is from Korea. He's been here a couple of years. He's a big snowboarding fan, and has many magazines and catalogs of such. He's a pretty basketball player, too. Olivier was a freshman when I was a senior. He's from France, and had been here a couple of years already. He left and returned to France after his freshman year. We threw a pool party for him.

Next picture we have Mr. Costello and Sky. Mr. Costello is the supervisor of ESL. Ironically, he was the ESL teacher for my sister back when she was in second grade. It was really funny when I first met him again my junior year. He still remembered my sister, and also some of the students in my year who had helped him out. Sky had already been to the states a couple years before coming to the high school. He went to some private shcool before Andover and did not like it. Sky is quite the guy with the looks. He reminds me of Leslie Cheung, a really famous Hong Kong actor. Leslie Cheung is gay, but that has nothing to do with Sky, or at least that I know of. Sky is a big basketball freak, and has a way with getting the most expensive basketball shoes just out. He also plays tennis for the high school.

Then we have Jack with Mr. Costello doing a little pose behind him. Jack moved here from Taiwan when I was a junior. His sister, April, is a year younger than him. I spent the first summer he was here tutoring and shooting hoops. Yeah, Jack was my hoop buddy for a while. We could spend a whole afternoon playing one on one. I got pretty good at my dribble and jump shots because of him. Next is Woo-Jay again.

Next we have Toni, Carlos, and Jack. Toni is Nozomi's brother. Nozomi was pictured on the AHS page in the graduation section. Toni is a pretty cool guy and sports some neat pens and pencils from Japan. Carlos moved here from Venezuela when I was a junior. He's a really built guy. He was a little shy but is pretty nice if you get to know him. He moved to New York after one year. I still keep in touch with him once in a while.

The rest of the pictures are taken at my house over the course of two pool parties. The first one features Felix and Olivier. This was the good-bye party we held for Olivier's going-to-France. Next is April reading some Chinese book and eating something. She does not let anyone take her picture, so this was the best I could do. If you're wondering about the nice pair of legs behind her, go ask Amy.

Then is Nils hiding from my dad. Nils is Felix's brother. He's much shorter than Felix and is a little on the chubby side. Alright fine, some might consider him a lot on the chubby side. He is one of the most friendliest people I know. I remember as the Tommy Hilfiger wearer. He's also really big on computer games. The next picture is Olivier doing a flip off the diving board. I also tried a few flips, but no one took any pictures (which might be a good thing...).

Next you have Carlos, Toni, and my dad on top, and Nozomi and April on the bottom. Ooops, I guess I lied. April does pose... Then you have Carlos and Felix on a jump ball. We try to play some intense basketball at the playground just across the street from my house. Finally you have he fashionably sporty Sky either taking off or putting on his shoes. That was his first extreme hairstyle change. He's gone through a couple now.
