A project that used to occupied much of my time was the Roles Database. This was and continues to be a central system used to manage people's authorizations and roles for various computer-based applications at MIT. See a document explaining authorizations in the Roles Database.

I also did the design work and implementation of the Master Department Hierarchy for MIT. (The system links together objects from the numerous existing systems that maintain various financial, academic, or other "org. charts", all of them different from one another.)

Many years ago, I built the FBRIDGE and RBRIDGE services for the old IBM mainframe. These services are no longer used, but I'll still leave the links here: Documentation on FBRIDGE and RBRIDGE
