I am currently a Graduate student at MIT.
My department is MIT's infamous Course 6 which stands for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
I have transferred from Tufts University after having finished first among the Freshman class.

Serious Projects:
 Incremental EM for image segmentation based on optic flow information.
A clever Java implementation of a shape from shading algorithm that will recover 3D geometry from a picture.
Evolving simple 2D geometry and control using genetic algorithms
The meta-circular accumulative model of the mind: a theory of creativity and dreaming.
Distributed Mini-Draw: A Java multi-user drawing pad with some nifty options.

Hobbies

Mind
 I am a fanatic HP-48 hacker. If the words W register, PC, RPL and Saturn mean anything to you send me e-mail.
I'm also becoming a Palm Pilot hacker.
I've seen almost every major movie from 1980 onward, and some of them up to 10 times..
I enjoy playing chess. I unnoficially beat the Cambridge champion while playing at Tufts, but I only play for pleasure.
The beginning of a collection of random remarquable pieces of spiritual and cultural dust.

Hand
 If I was born during the renaissance I think I would have studied art instead of engineering.

Heart
I occasionally write poetry.

Nerves
 Sports cars. It's a bit less than a passion, a bit more than love.
Activities

Academic
 I am the president of the MIT chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society.
I am the web chair for Ashdown.

Sports
 I think skiing is the best sport.
Since my recent trip to Hawaii, I am an interpid surfer.
I run and bike a lot.
I love sailing , even if it's in the Charles River.
I used to play 5 hours of tennis a day. Now I am not as good as before, but tennis is in my blood.
Give me a sword, and I probably still remember how to fence.
I love dancing. I can handle Greek dances, club, hip-hop, and... pop (Michael Jackson is the King of Pop (he says)).
I'm blue belt in Shotokan Karate.
I seldom play volleyball and basketball.
