Geese and Gooslings
Right by the Boston University bridge, a colony of domestic geese found its dwelling. It colonized a small grassy area used to be covered with trees. This winter the city of Cambridge turned it into a miniature park. This is the "Golden Era" for the Charles River geese families. I checked recently (April 2000) and there are three families with little gooselings. They are so cute. I could not help myself, and now Ovidiu and I pay them more frequent visits with some bread and other leftovers.
