News

Kristine W's second album, called "Clubland" is due out in the
U.S. in September 1999. A single will be released in August.

Kristine performed at Avalon on Sunday, June 13, 1999 at the official
closing party for Boston's Gay Pride Week. In June 1998 she performed
at the club Chaps as part of Boston's Pride festivities. Also, in June
1996 she performed at Chaps' Pride block party.

'Sweet Mercy Me' was due for release as a single in England in early
1998, but never came out.

Larry Flick, in his Dance Trax column for Billboard, March 22, 1997
issue, mentioned "Feel What You Want" as a re-released single
to be promo-ed to radio. He also lauds Kristine W yet again for her all
around greatness as a performer and recording artist, for her solid
album and her great singles and her ability to entertain a crowd.

Rollo was interviewed in Gay Times (U.K.) magazine, January 1997 issue,
about Kristine W's album, "Land of the Living", to be released
in Europe in March 1997.

[The surprise on this CD is track 3, masquerading under the title of
   Radio Edit, it's a stand-alone remix, a bouncier, dance-pop radio version
that may be my favorite dance mix of this song! The Original Version is
great and fits neatly into the album, of course. The Big Mix Edit is
what it's title describes, a reduction of the Big Mix. But, it starts off
with lyrics from the middle of the song; an oddity and confusing for a
"radio audience" as first exposure to the song. The Big Mix is fun
but the Edit of it is unnecessary. Too bad the Morales mixes have not
made it to CD in the U.S.! -Matt]
