How The Sun Tricked A God   One day the sun dropped a shaft of light at the foot of a god, who picked it up and carried it away.   Where are you going with that shaft of light? asked another god.   To weave a cloak, said the god.   But if you weave a cloak from the sun's light, the world will stay in darkness.   Perhaps, but I found it, and it is mine to do with as I please.   So the god wove a cloak for his shoulders, and wherever he went, it was day. Wherever he was not, it was night.   One day, while walking along the horizon, he saw an old man shivering.   I am so cold, said the old man, If you let me warm myself in your cloak, I will show you where the moon keeps her light. The god agreed but as soon as the cloak touched the old man's shoulders, he rose into the sky and began to shine again.   And that is why, when part of the world is in light, another part is in darkness.
