Technology Venture Workshop -- How to Win the MIT $50K Entrepreneurship Competition

Joost Bonsen '90, a former Lead Organizer (1993-5) of the MIT $50K Entrepreneurship Competition, discusses emerging technologies, opportunity identification, concept refinement, team- and advisory-board building, and sharpening your pitch, all in a workshop environment using live case examples. Will survey MIT $50K history and highlight alumni companies as case example. This offering is useful preparation for the credit-bearing IAP entrepreneurship classes and towards crafting a winning executive summary. Also useful for those considering being MIT $50K organizers.
