The Mayans believed that at the end of a 5000 year cycle in their calendar,
which will be in 2012, there would be a flood that would cover the whole earth.
I know that if all of the polar ice melted, the sea levels would only rise
about 200 feet, but is there any way that such a flood would be possible?
