I found a discussion of the relationship between humidity, a cold body and warm body during a Web source. I hope that you will help me, even though I am long out of college. We live in Oakland, CA and have just returned from a four-day trip to Cleveland: very cold, snow, etc. Dressing properly, I felt more comfortable outside in Cleveland at 20 agrees or so than I do in Oakland, where we've had a cold winter. I've always assumed that I'm negatively affected by a combination of cold and higher humidity--which I associate with dampness, cold extremities, etc. But I see from the weather reports that Oakland has LOWER humidity than Cleveland. Can anyone help me understand what might be going on?
