Bylaws call for up to 13 reps
Proposal Passed Last Week:
BYLAW:
The bylaws call for upt to 13 reps
2 from each of the 5 dances (2x5=10)
3 RAL
= 13 reps
If there are vacant rep slots , the reps can solicit a 3rd rep from DNE of the dances. This is a one year proposal Reps have a staggered term.
We want the Communities blessing to work on this This is a test to try how this will work Is it okay for community for us reps to work on it. We con't want to increast # of reps (13). If city has more than 2 people avail to do rep wk, can be 3 at that city. This would not increase # of reps (13) This won't mean more represention for that city; that city won't carry more wt. This is about increasing flexibility, making it easier for people to serve in a rep in a different capacity. What we're looking at is a restructuring, but not in a long term way. Ths is just a temporary trial option.
Concern:
I think dances should be allowed to put forwrd more than 3 reps if other
dances don't have enough...
Can we ammend it to more?
(Non-blocking concern)
Consensus Passed!!!
