Once apon a time, a friend and I raised a foundling Canadian goose
and its companion domestic duck. (We bought the duck to keep the orphaned
goose company.) The kitten is Jessy.
They grew up to be good friends, and lived under the barn.
My house is on the Assabet River, and I still have geese for company
