1/97-present. Implemented FileMaker databases, including several with static or live Web output, and provided one-on-one FileMaker consulting for users at MIT. Designed both a Powerbuilder and a Web interface to the MIT Computing Help Desk's Oracle call-tracking database.

1/96-1/97. Identified and met needs of the Web publishing community at MIT. Maintained official MIT web pages. Hired, trained, and supervised three student consultants. Explored solutions for automatically converting FileMaker databases and other documents to HTML format. Provided Web authoring training to the user community. Evaluated, implemented, and distributed new technologies to enhance Web publishing at MIT. Provided design reviews of Web pages at MIT.

2/93-1/96. Co-managed the MIT Microcomputing Help Line, a help desk for Macintosh and PC users at MIT. Hired and trained staff of 20 undergraduate students. Coordinated weekly training meetings. Provided one-on-one mentoring, feedback, and supervision for student staff. Transformed the Help Line's FileMaker database into a powerful call-tracking tool. Developed and taught courses in FileMaker Pro scripting. Drove the Help Line to support new technologies and make use of Internet resources.
