The Bride’s home is located in the “Main Line,” which consists of Wayne, Devon and King of Prussia. These three are the most convenient towns in the western Philadelphia suburbs.

Philadelphia International airport is only 20 minutes away.

Valley Forge National Historic Park, located about 10 minutes away contains a wealth of American History. The beauty of the park, historic site, picnic area, log cabins, hiking and biking trails provide the perfect setting for relaxation and fun.

Betsy Ross House

239 Arch Street (between 2nd and 3rd Streets)
Step across the creaky floorboards in the house where Betsy Ross allegedly sewed the famous thirteen star flag. Splendidly restored to its 1777 condition, the house gives all the flavor of the Revolutionary Period of American history.

Hours: 7 days a week, Memorial Day through Labor Day, 10 am - 5 pm. Off-season, Tuesday-Sunday 10am-5pm


Independence Hall
Chestnut Street between 5th and 6th Streets

Originially Pennsylvania's state house, this Georgian building designed by Alexander Hamilton became the birthplace of the United States. Hear the echoes of the great debates which resulted in the drafting of the Constitution. Imagine yourself sitting among the founders when the Declaration of Independence was adopted.

Liberty Bell
Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets

Last rung in 1846, this famously flawed symbol of freedom rests across from Independence Hall. Guides cloaked in period costume retell its glorious history. Imagine yourself among cheering throngs as the bell clanged at the ratification of the Constitution. Twelve years later, those crowds returned, weeping, as the Bell tolled Washington's death.
