- INSTRUCTIONS: DISCOVERING THE WEB

- 1. using either the resources page or the link below, locate and explore
ONE web site which either uses media in interesting/unusual ways,
or which focuses on some aspect relevant to the study of media: a specific
medium (e.g. the telephone), media culture, communication, etc.

- 2. when you've chosen your site, send an email message to bbs@webmeet.mit.edu
containing the following:
- URL of the site you have chosen
- a brief paragraph explaining why you chose it
- your message will be posted to the course web site's bbs. we will later
post all sites on a student links page, so choose your site carefully--don't
just pick a "cool link"!
