MIT Nordic Ski Team

Team Information

Our team is historically very competitive in its league, the Mideast Conference (MEC) of the USCSA, the United States Collegiate Snow sport Association, which was changed from the Ski Association because it now includes snowboarding in some schools. It's a relatively small league, but its Saturday/Sunday race schedule fits into an MIT course load much better than the Friday/Saturday races of the larger Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA), where MIT used to compete prior to the 1996 season. Unfortunately both the men's and women's teams are currently too small to record a team score.

Anyways, here are the other teams of the MEC: Alfred University, Clarkson University, Colby-Sawyer College, Cornell University, Syracuse University, Skidmore College, WPI, Yale and the US Military Academy

	MIT's own Dr Jeckle and Ms. Hyde, this Vermont native is usually mild mannered, but when she gets on that race course, look out. Once she gets going, she turns as mean and foulmouthed as a sailor with a hangover. While her moodswings may be disturbing, you can't argue with success - she fought her way to the front pack in her first season in the league and appears to have hit full stride in 2002. When not skiing or engaging in borderline obscesive-compulsive cleaning, Marissa enjoys being so unnecessarily helpfull that everyone else around her feels guilty and cooking up tasty treats for anyone in sight.

	Ok, this is where the rest of the team had an opportunity to make fun of me, but they were too lazy to come up with anything. No wonder they all suck so bad. So you want to know about me? Well... I really like duct tape. And candy, I like candy almost as much as choas, who I enjoy teasing at every opportunity. Where's choas? He ain't here man, he ain't here.
