--4/6/06-- The ski team is trying to get back on its feet through club sports. Right now, we've got all of the paperwork in and have 20-25 interested skiiers and 2 coaches. At the moment, we just have to wait for the Club Sports Council to review our application. Cross your fingers! Another year, another coach search... If you or someone you know is interested in coaching our small, friendly team, please contact assistant athletic director John Benedick --12/30/02-- The 2003 schedule has been added in the races section. Looks like we're giving up on getting a coach for this season. Maybe next season. --11/06/02-- Well, the 2003 season approaches and the team is in dire straits. We are still searching for a coach, but more importantly the team has shrunk to the point that it's long term viability has become threatened. We have always been happy to introduce new skiers to this awsome sport, but now we're more focused on it than ever. If you have any interest in nordic racing, please contact us so we can shamelessly promote it to you. In other news, the new schedule is starting to come together. Even with our small team, we are trying to put together some races for the Feburary 1-2 weekend. Site is stil TBD, but we're looking into Dartmouth and Notchview in western Mass. My great hope is for a same day pursuit on saturday followed by a 3X5 km classic, skate, skate mixed gender relay. No sprints on my weekend!
