VEGLIFE is a fairly active list and is available in digest form. It has over 700 people on it from around the world. Fortunately, it is available in digest form, which saves all the messages for the day and sends them to you in one chunk at about 11PM. There are anywhere from 1 to 20-odd messages in a given day. Here's how to order: send to: LISTSERV@VTVM1.BITNET or LISTSERV@VTVM1.CC.VT.EDU Your e-mail body should say: (To subscribe) sub veglife firstname lastname (To start the digest format) set veglife digest Note that you should send two separate messages if you want the digest option; one to subscribe and one to set you on digest (seems an appropriate format for a food list, huh?). There is one other list not mentioned by VEGLIFE for some reason. It is called VEGGIE and has pretty light traffic and does not have a digest that I know of. I think it has around 250 subscribers, also around the world. To get on it, send a message to: The message can be in regular English because a human, not a machine, will be processing your request (strange but true).
