MITOC's boathouse houses our equipment for canoeing, whitewater, and sea kayaking.
In order to borrow a key to the boathouse and rent canoes or kayaks from MITOC, members must first provide one hour of service each year to the boathouse. Work sessions will be conducted at least twice a year to keep the boathouse clean and make sure that everyone is familiar with rental procedures.
Please note that, like all rentals, boathouse keys are due back within 7 days. We have very few boathouse keys, so we expect members to return them promptly.
To become a boathouse keyholder , MITOC members must complete boathouse training and then provide one hour of service to the boathouse once a year to maintain active keyholder status. The training and one hour of service is coordinated through the Boathouse Manager
