The LCM was invited to participate in the NGOs,
Governance, and Sustainable Development conference organized by the
Council of Lebanese Experts in Human Resources (CLEHR) in Kaslik, Lebanon on June
27, 28, & 29 of 2005.
The two-day conference featured a number of local and international Lebanese
NGOs partaking in various panels, two of which featured presentations by the
LCM. The "Overseas Lebanese Associations: Reality & Prospect" panel aimed
to establish dialogue between NGOs inside and outside Lebanon working on related
causes. The LCM's mission, activities, and experience in 2005 was showcased. In
another panel, "NGOs and New Abilities", the LCM presented an effort in
progress: The International Network of Lebanese Entrepreneurs and Technologists
