  2008 Campus Preview Weekend

Mazel Tov on being accepted to MIT! We encourage you to come to campus for a visit so that you can see for yourself why this is such a great place. The best time to see MIT is during the official "Campus Preview Weekend" in April. This is a great opportunity to learn about general MIT life and Jewish campus life. Hillel sponsors a number of programs and meals in conjunction with MIT's CPW.

You and your parents are welcome to join us. You can even use your CPW-MIT meal card at the MIT Kosher Dining facility! If you would like a Jewish host during your CPW visit, contact Hillel and we'll make the arrangements.

When you arrive at MIT stop by the Hillel office to meet the Hillel staff & have a snack. Parents welcome as well

Pizza & Games
Hang out with current Jewish students over pizza and games. Catch some footage from this year's epic "Latke - Hamentashen Debate."

Eat Your Way Through the Jewish Year
The entire Jewish year of food in one afternoon! Snack on a sample food from each Jewish holiday while learning a little about each celebration.
1:00 - 2:30 p.m. at Hillel

Shabbat Services
Conservative, Reform and Orthodox services will be held
6:00 p.m. at Hillel

Shabbat Dinner
Meet Jewish students over a traditional Shabbat dinner complete with bubbe’s chicken soup and challah. Parents are welcome to join us for Shabbat as well!,

Try to rsvp to hillel@mit.edu ahead of time -- Bring your CPW student meal card or parent meal voucher for payment.

"Jewish Life" Fair
Learn about the many aspects of Jewish life at MIT. There will be information tables with material from Hillel, MIT Students for Israel, Techiya (a cappella), Community Service/Tzedek opportunities, AEPi fraternity, AEPHi sorority, Hibur: MIT-Technion Link, and more.
