Parents

Parents of Jewish students at MIT are a partner in MIT Hillel's work on campus. Parents are invited to events during the year and are encouraged to participate in the Hillel Annual Fund.

Family Weekend
MIT sponsors a special weekend of activities for families of MIT students every October under the sponsorship of the MIT Parents Program. In conjunction with this event, MIT Hillel invites parents to join the campus Jewish community for our Shabbat and special events. Consult this year's Hillel Family Weekend schedule for more information.

Parent Visits
Parents often visit their children during the academic year. Parents are always welcome to attend Hillel programs and meals during their MIT visits. For information or to reserve a Shabbat meal contact the Hillel adminstrator.

Annual Fund
MIT Hillel depends on the generosity of Jewish parents and alumni/ae for the majority of its annual funding. All parents are encouraged to participate in Hillel's Annual Fund Campaign. Also, opportunities exist for parents to sponsor specific Hillel programs. For information contact Hillel Director Miriam Rosenblum.
