Christian Science Organization at MIT

Hi!

A little bit about us...

The Christian Science Organization is a small but dedicated group of students, faculty, and MIT community members. In our weekly prayer meetings, a designated reader chooses and reads selections from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the textbook written by the founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. Part of every meeting is dedicated to prayer and sharing any experiences of healing or thoughts on Christian Science. The CSO also sponsors Christian Science lectures on the MIT Campus. Our other activities include: attending Christian Science lectures in the Boston area, participating in Mother Church-sponsored activities, and social events with other Christian Scientists in the Boston area.

For more information about us, don't hesitate to e-mail us at csorg@mit.edu. Or call our advisor, Prof. Les Norford at 253-8797.

To learn more about Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and its author, Mary Baker Eddy, check out the new Web page of The Church of Christ Scientist. Or peruse through The Virtual Christian Science Reading Room.
