Arab Student Organization

Uniting the Arab community at MIT since 1958

Established in 1958, the Arab Students’ Organization (ASO) is one of the oldest student organizations at MIT. Run by Graduates and Undergraduates, we hold semi-annual cultural dinners, the MENA Career Fair, the SciTech Awards, and many smaller community-wide events that aim to bring Arab Students MIT closer together.

The ASO’s mission lies in building cultural, academic, and industrial bridges between MIT and the Arab World. We aim to create a platform for Arab scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs to express their ideas, a place for Arabs to grow professionally, academically, and personally, and to provide outlets to give back to our communities all while celebrating our collective Arab culture.
